Watching briefs

archaeology watching briefs

Watching brief conditions are regularly attached to planning consents, especially where it is thought that archaeological remains of limited or unknown importance might exist. This type of archaeological monitoring is also often applied to pipeline, highways or other linear civil engineering projects. We will supply fully qualified and experienced field archaeologists to carry out the monitoring and recording work required and, by close liaison and co-operation, will always strive to avoid unnecessary delays to the developer or contractor.

Whether you are adding an extension to your house or planning a new motorway or factory site, contact us to discuss how the archaeological monitoring can be carried out fully and professionally, but with the least possible disruption.
